Spyderco Native II Steel Handle Combo Edge AUS 10 Stainless Blade - SP41S in AUS-10
Made in the 1990's with one of Spyderco's rarest steels on its partially serrated blade. The Japanese AUS-10 super steel.
The SP41 Native models have made themselves right at home in Spyderco's line of CLIPIT folding knives. In a sense they go "native" in any surrounding, tackling specific cutting chores, detailed or tough, as if they were designed for that specific task. Available with a stainless steel handle (SP41S), this Spyderco Native II model is an ideal mid-sized folder, featuring a 3 1/8 inch (80mm) spearpoint style blade with a pronounced top swedge 50/50 Plain Edge / Serrated.
The SP41S Native II has a blade made of AUS-10 stainless super steel and weighs 4 5/8 ounces (131grams). The Native II comes with a stainless steel clip that can be mounted to either side of the knife (for left-hand or right-hand use) or it can be removed altogether by simply loosening a mounting screw with a coin.
The lanyard hole is bored out of the center of the mounting screw. The stainless handle offers a variety of angles to wrap the hand around for ergonomic cutting.
